Egypt to See Gradual Rise in Temperatures, starting Tuesday

The Egyptian Meteorological Authority announced the weather forecast from Tuesday, May 17, to Saturday, May 21.

Slightly hot weather is predicted in Greater Cairo and Lower Egypt, moderate weather on the northern coasts, hot weather on South Sinai and northern Upper Egypt, and very hot weather on southern Upper Egypt.

Pleasant weather is predicted at night on Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt and northern Upper Egypt, and colder weather on the northern coasts. Moderate weather is forecast at night in South Sinai and southern Upper Egypt.

Active winds are predicted in areas of Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, the eastern coasts, South Sinai and the south of the country at intermittent periods, and a large cloud cover will pass reducing the periods of sunshine.

Low and medium-level clouds are expected over the north of the country, possibly accompanied by light rain in separate areas on the northern coasts and Lower Egypt.
