Egypt to See Cold Weather on Saturday

The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) expressed that Egypt will see cold and cloudy weather on Friday, however, there will be an improvement in the weather after the latest cold wave the country saw a few days ago.

Cold and cloudy weather to prevail in Cairo, Lower Egypt, the North Coast, and North Upper Egypt, during daylight hours.

Moderately warm weather is also set to prevail in South Sinai and South Upper Egypt.

EMA added in its statement that there will be light showers on the north coasts, parts of Lower Egypt, and the middle of Sinai during the day.

Moreover, frost would be formed on plants in northern Upper Egypt and Sinai.

Wind activity will be experienced in several parts the east of the north coasts, South Sinai, the Red Sea Mountains.

Mist will prevail in all highways and roads nearby agricultural areas, and water bodies.

During the night, extremely cold weather will fall across Egypt.

Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 15°C in Cairo, 15°C in Alexandria, 14°C in Marsa Matruh, 16C in Sohag, 17°C in Qena, and 19°C in Aswan.
