The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts extremely hot and humid weather to prevail in Cairo, Lower Egypt, North Coast, and south of the country during daylight hours on Sunday.
Hot weather is also expected to hit the North Coast.
Furthermore, the Mediterranean Sea will experience low to moderate waves, ranging between 1 and 1.5 meters with northwest surface winds.
Waves in the Red Sea will be moderate, ranging between 1.75 and 2.25 meters with northwest surface winds.
Meanwhile, moderate weather is predicted to prevail across the country, at night.
Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 38°C in Cairo, 33°C in Alexandria, 32°C in Matruh, 42°C in Sohag, 44°C in Qena, and 44°C in Aswan.
