Egypt has reaffirmed its total rejection of unilateral measures that infringe upon the sovereignty of states and their territorial integrity, emphasizing that such actions contradict the established foundations of international law and the United Nations Charter.

In an official statement, Egypt renewed its condemnation, in the strongest possible terms, of Israel's unilateral recognition of the so-called "Somaliland."

Cairo described the move as a blatant violation of international law and the UN Charter, warning that it undermines the pillars of international peace and security and contributes to instability in the Horn of Africa.

Egypt further reiterated its absolute rejection of recognizing any parallel entities or illegal and illegitimate secessionist movements.

The statement underscored Egypt's full support for the unity, sovereignty, and territorial integrity of the Federal Republic of Somalia, in alignment with international legal principles.

The statement concluded by stressing that Egypt opposes any unilateral steps that would compromise Somali sovereignty or undermine the foundations of stability in the country.

This position reflects Egypt's broader foreign policy of protecting the national unity of sisterly Arab and African nations and preventing the fragmentation of state institutions.
