Egypt strongly condemned the repeated Israeli violations of the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, which resulted in the martyrdom of 25 Palestinians.
In a statement, Egypt said that such actions inflame the situation and undermine efforts aimed at solidifying the truce and restoring stability, at a time when regional and international parties are joining forces to ensure the success of the second phase of President Donald Trump’s peace plan and the implementation of UN Security Council Resolution 2803.
Moreover, Egypt emphasized that these repeated violations represent a direct threat to the political path and obstruct efforts to create an environment conducive to transitioning to a more stable phase in the Gaza Strip on both security and humanitarian levels.
Furthermore, Egypt appealed to all parties to fully commit to their responsibilities during this critical stage. It called for exercising maximum restraint to help maintain and sustain the ceasefire, avoid any actions that could undermine the current path, and create favorable conditions for moving forward with the early recovery phase and the reconstruction process.
