Egypt condemned in the strongest terms, Israel’s raid on a school belonging to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), which houses thousands of displaced civilians in Nuseirat in the central Gaza Strip, leaving dozens of Palestinian civilians killed and injured, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Immigration said on Sunday.
Egypt denounced the continued Israeli violations of the provisions of international law and international humanitarian law.
Egypt stressed the necessity of reaching a comprehensive ceasefire in the entire Gaza Strip, to put an end to the humanitarian tragedies faced by the residents of the Strip, calling on Israel to respond to international efforts aimed at stopping the ongoing war against the Strip.
