Egypt's Ambassador to Juba, Moataz Mustafa Abdel-Qader, discussed with the Vice President of South Sudan, Hussein Abdel-Baqi, ways to enhance bilateral cooperation between both countries in the public services sector.
The meeting was attended by Minister of Health of South Sudan, Yolanda Den.
During the meeting, the Egyptian ambassador highlighted the directives of the political leadership to continue providing support to South Sudan, especially in the health and education sectors.
Moreover, the two sides also discussed the results of the scholarship program to study in Egyptian universities for this year, in addition to the ongoing work to complete the rehabilitation of the Egyptian Technical School in the city of "Wau".
On his part, the Vice President of South Sudan expressed his deep appreciation for the Egyptian role in support of his country, especially in the service sectors that affect the South Sudanese citizen, stressing the importance of this support, especially in light of the delicate stage that his country is going through.
