Egypt and China have signed a strategic partnership in the real estate sector, marking a major step in strengthening economic cooperation between the two nations. The agreement, reported by Sada El Balad Media Network, a partner of TV BRICS, aims to bring global expertise to Egypt’s property market and develop the sector according to the latest international standards.
The signing ceremony took place in Cairo, attended by Egyptian Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, Eng. Sherif El-Sherbiny, and China’s Commercial and Economic Attaché in Cairo, Zhao Liuqing. This collaboration aligns with Egypt Vision 2030, the country’s national strategy for sustainable economic growth.
The partnership is expected to enhance technology transfer, improve local industry capabilities, and modernize real estate development in Egypt. By combining local expertise with global innovation, the agreement aims to raise the efficiency of the property sector and create new investment opportunities.
Under the agreement, Egyptian and Chinese real estate companies will collaborate, with support from the Egyptian Ministry of Housing. This initiative is designed to position Egypt as a prime destination for real estate investment, leveraging China’s advanced construction technologies and Egypt’s rapidly growing property market.
