The Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZone) has signed an agreement with China’s CJN to establish an integrated phosphate-based chemicals complex within the “Sokhna 360” industrial city. The project marks the company’s largest overseas expansion to date.
The new complex will involve a $1 billion investment and will span 905,000 square meters, creating approximately 10,000 direct and indirect jobs. A significant portion of the facility’s output will be designated for export to markets in South Asia, the Middle East, Africa, and South America.
Commercial operations for the first phase of the project are expected to begin in 2028, reinforcing.
