Since the beginning of the Israel-Hamas war on 7th October, 12,000 tons of aid have been sent to Gaza, including 9,000 tons from Egypt, according to the Egyptian Cabinet's Information and Decision Support Center (IDSC).
On Monday, the North Sinai governorate reported that Egypt has sent over 3,100 tons of food, medicine, medical supplies, and other humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip.
In total, 193 trucks carrying humanitarian aid from world countries and organizations have crossed the Rafah border into Gaza from Egypt.
Egypt has been delivering daily humanitarian aid to the strip amid the deteriorating situation in the area due to the Israeli airstrikes.
These strikes have displaced around 1.4 million Palestinians out of the 2.3 million people inhabiting the strip.
