Egypt Sees Weather on Thursday, Cairo 31°C

The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts hot weather to prevail in most parts of the country, during daylight hours on Thursday.

Moderately hot weather is also predicted to hit the Northeastern Coast, while South Upper Egypt and South Sinai experience scorching weather.

Wind will be active occasionally across the country.

It is also predicted there will be disruption of maritime navigation in the Red Sea, with winds averaging 35 to 50 km/h and waves ranging between 1.5 to 2.5 meters.

Furthermore, the Mediterranean Sea will experience low to moderate waves, ranging between 1 and 1.5 meters in height varying between northeast and southeast surface winds.

Waves in the Red Sea will be moderate to turbulent, ranging between 1.5 and 2.5 meters in height with northwest surface winds.

Moreover, most parts of the country will experience moderate weather at nighttime. Moderately hot weather is also predicted to prevail in South Upper Egypt.

Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 31°C in Cairo, 28°C in Alexandria, 28°C in Marsa Matruh, 36°C in Sohag, 38°C in Qena, and 39°C in Aswan.
