The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts that the country will experience a wave of unstable weather as of Thursday.

Meteorologists also predicted that the wave is accompanied by a rain of varying intensity, sometimes accompanied by thunder, and a temperature drop. The cold snap will continue until Saturday.

Winds occasionally occur across the country.

There is also a chance of medium to heavy rainfall, sometimes thunderous, prevailing intermittently in Marsa Matruh, El Alamein, Alexandria, Beheira, and Kafr El Shaikh.

The Mediterranean Sea will experience moderate to turbulent waves ranging between 1.5 and 2.5 in height varying between northwest and southwest surface winds.

Waves in the Red Sea will be moderate, ranging between 1.5 and 2 meters in height with northwest surface winds.

Moderate weather is also expected to prevail in Egypt at night, becoming moderately cold towards the end and fall-like in the early morning.

The predicted temperatures for the following cities are 25°C in Cairo, 23°C in Alexandria, 22°C in Marsa Matruh, 27°C in Sohag, 30°C in Qena, and 31°C in Aswan.
