The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts that the country will experience unstable weather conditions on Monday, accompanied by rainfall and a decline in temperature.
Winds will occur occasionally in most parts of the country, increasing the feeling of chill.
Moderate rainfall, sometimes thunderous, will prevail over the North Coast and Lower Egypt.
Furthermore, the Mediterranean Sea will experience moderate to turbulent waves, ranging between 2 and 2.5 meters in height, with northwest surface winds.
Waves in the Red Sea will be moderate to turbulent, ranging between 2.5 and 3 meters in height with northwest surface winds.
Moreover, moderate to turbulent maritime conditions are expected in the Gulf of Suez, ranging between 2 and 3 meters in height, with northwest surface winds.
Cold weather is also expected to prevail in Egypt at night, turning extremely cold in the early hours.
There is a chance of light to moderate rainfall prevailing intermittently in Cairo, Canal Cities, north and central Sinai, Faiyum, and Beni Suef.
The predicted temperatures for the following cities are 19°C in Cairo, 18°C in Alexandria, 16°C in Marsa Matruh, 22°C in Sohag, 23°C in Qena, and 24°C in Aswan.
