The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts the country will see unstable weather conditions on Friday, accompanied by rainfall and a decline in the temperature.
Moderately warm weather is expected to prevail across the country during the daylight hours.
Winds occasionally occur across the country.
There is a chance of light to moderate rainfall prevailing intermittently in Cairo, Canal Cities, South Sinai, and North Upper Egypt.
Moderate rain is also forecast to hit El Salloum and Marsa Matruh.
Moderate to heavy rain, sometimes thunderous, is expected in Alexandria, North Lower Egypt, North and Central Sinai.
Furthermore, maritime navigation is also expected to be disrupted in the Mediterranean Sea with winds averaging 50 to 70 km/h and waves ranging between 3:4 meters.
Maritime navigation will be disrupted in the Red Sea, the Gulf of Suez, and the Gulf of Aqaba with winds averaging 40 to 70 km/h and waves ranging between 3:4 meters.
Extremely cold weather is also expected to prevail in Egypt at night and in the early morning.
The predicted temperatures for the following cities are 18°C in Cairo, 18°C in Alexandria, 17°C in Marsa Matruh, 22°C in Sohag, 23°C in Qena, and 31°C in Aswan.
