The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts moderately warm weather will prevail in most parts of the country during Friday's daylight hours.
Hot weather is also expected to prevail in the North Upper Egypt.
The country also witnesses mist, extending into fog, on the agricultural and highway roads from the north of the country to Cairo, Canal Cities, North Upper Egypt, and Central Sinai.
Meteorologists also predict that Egypt will continue experiencing experience a gradual rise in temperature, with the heatwave expected to peak beginning in the middle of next week.
Wind speeds of between 30 and 35 kilometres per hour (km/h) are expected to affect much of Cairo, North Coast, and Lower Egypt.
Light rainfall is predicted to prevail in the North Coast and the North Lower Egypt at intermittent period.
Furthermore, the Mediterranean Sea will experience moderate waves, ranging between 1.25 and 2.l meters in height with northwest surface winds.
Waves in the Red Sea will be moderate, ranging between 1.5 and 2 meters in height with northwest surface winds.
Cold weather is also expected to prevail in Egypt at night and in the early morning.
Moderately cold weather is also expected to prevail in Egypt at night, becoming cold towards the end and in the early morning.
The predicted temperatures for the following cities are 27°C in Cairo, 22°C in Alexandria, 21°C in Marsa Matruh, 30°C in Sohag, 28°C in Qena, and 31°C in Aswan.
