The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts moderately cold weather will prevail across the country during Friday's daylight hours.
The country also witnesses mist, extending into fog, on the agricultural and highway roads from the north of the country to Cairo, Canal Cities, North Upper Egypt, and Central Sinai.
Winds will occur occasionally in most parts of the country, increasing the feeling of chill.
Light to moderate rainfall is predicted to prevail in the Northeastern Coast at intermittent period.
Light rain is also forecast to hit intermittently the Northwest Coast, Central Sinai, and the North Lower Egypt.
Meteorologists also predict that the country will experience a temperature decline.
Furthermore, the Mediterranean Sea will experience turbulent waves, ranging between 2.5 and 3.5 meters in height with northwest surface winds.
Maritime navigation will be disrupted in the Red Sea, the Gulf of Suez, and the Gulf of Aqaba, with winds averaging 50 to 70 km/h and waves ranging between 2.5: 3.5 meters.
Extremely cold weather is also expected to prevail in Egypt at night. Frost is also witnessed in Central Sinai.
The predicted temperatures for the following cities are 19°C in Cairo, 18°C in Alexandria, 17°C in Marsa Matruh, 22°C in Sohag, 23°C in Qena, and 25°C in Aswan.
