The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts moderate weather to prevail in Cairo, Lower Egypt, North Coast, and North Upper Egypt during Monday’s daylight hours.
Moderately warm weather is also expected to hit South Sinai and South Upper Egypt.
Winds will be active in South Sinai and the south of the country.
The country will also witness mist, extending into fog, on agricultural and highway roads in Cairo, Lower Egypt, Canal Cities, North Coast, Central Sinai, and North Upper Egypt.
Light rainfall will prevail in Northwest Coast and North Lower Egypt, at intermittent periods. Light to moderate rain to hit intermittently Northeast coast.
Furthermore, the Mediterranean Sea will experience low to moderate waves, ranging between 0.5 meter and 1.5 meters in height varying between northeast and northwest surface winds.
The Red Sea will experience moderate waves, ranging between 1.5 meter and 2 meters in height with northwest surface winds.
Extremely cold weather is also expected to prevail in Egypt in the early hours and at the end of the nighttime.
The predicted temperatures for the following cities are 20°C in Cairo, 21°C in Alexandria, 19°C in Marsa Matruh, 22°C in Sohag, 24°C in Qena, and 25°C in Aswan.
