The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts hot weather to prevail in Cairo, Lower Egypt, North Coast, and South Sinai, during daylight hours on Wednesday.
Extremely hot weather is also expected to hit the south of the country.
There is also a 20% chance of light rain prevailing in Northwest Coast and Western Desert.
Furthermore, the Mediterranean Sea will experience moderate to turbulent waves, ranging between 2 and 2.5 meters in height varying between southeast to northeast surface winds.
Waves in the Red Sea will be low to moderate, ranging between 1.5 and 1.75 meters with northwest surface winds.
Moreover, moderate weather is also expected to prevail across the country, at night.
Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 35°C in Cairo, 32°C in Alexandria, 29°C in Marsa Matruh, 39°C in Sohag, 39°C in Qena, and 40°C in Aswan.
