The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts hot weather to prevail in Cairo and Lower Egypt, during daylight hours on Wednesday.
Moderately hot weather is also expected to hit North Coast, while South Sinai and the south of the country experience extremely hot weather.
There is a 40% chance of light rain hitting the northwestern coasts and North of Lower Egypt, at intermittent intervals.
Winds will occur occasionally in Cairo, Lower Egypt, North Coast, and North Upper Egypt.
Furthermore, the Mediterranean Sea will experience moderate waves, ranging between 1.5 and 2 meters in height varying between southeast to northwest surface winds.
Waves in the Red Sea will be low, ranging between 0.5 and 1 meters in height with northwest surface winds.
Moreover, moderately cold weather is also expected to prevail in most parts of the country, at night.
There is a 20% chance of light rain hitting Cairo, Lower Egypt, and the Canal Cities.
Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 32°C in Cairo, 23°C in Alexandria, 21°C in Marsa Matruh, 37°C in Sohag, 38°C in Qena, and 39°C in Aswan.
