The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts hot weather to prevail in Cairo, Lower Egypt, North Coast, and Central Sinai, during daylight hours on Sunday.
Extremely hot weather is expected to hit South Sinai, Red Sea mountain trail, and Upper Egypt.
Wind will occur occasionally in most parts of Egypt.
Furthermore, the Mediterranean Sea will experience low to moderate waves, ranging between one and 1.75 meters in height with northwestern surface winds.
Waves in the Red Sea will be moderate, ranging between 1.5 and 2.25 meters in height with northwestern surface winds.
Moderate weather is also predicted to prevail across the country, at night.
Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 35°C in Cairo, 31°C in Alexandria, 30°C in Marsa Matruh, 38°C in Sohag, 40°C in Qena, and 41°C in Aswan.
