The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts hot weather to prevail in Cairo, Lower Egypt, and Northeastern Coast, during daylight hours on Friday.
Moderately hot weather is also predicted to hit the Northwestern Coast, while South Sinai and south of the country experience scorching weather.
Dusty wind will be active in Cairo, Lower Egypt, North Coast, stirring sand and dust in the Western Desert and North Upper Egypt.
Light weather is also predicted to prevail in North Coast and North Lower Egypt, at intermittent periods.
It is also predicted there will be disruption of maritime navigation in the Mediterranean Sea, with winds averaging 50 to 60 km/h and waves ranging between 2 to 3 meters.
Furthermore, the Mediterranean Sea will experience low to moderate waves, ranging between 2 and 3 meters in height varying between southeast and northwest surface winds.
Waves in the Red Sea will be moderate, ranging between 1 and 1.5 meters in height varying between southeast and southwestern surface winds.
Moreover, most parts of the country will experience moderate weather at nighttime.
Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 34°C in Cairo, 26°C in Alexandria, 24°C in Marsa Matruh, 38°C in Sohag, 39°C in Qena, and 41°C in Aswan.
