The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts extremely hot weather to prevail in Cairo, Lower Egypt, South Sanai, Red Sea mountain trail, and Upper Egypt, during daylight hours on Thursday.
Hot weather is expected to hit North Coast and Central Sinai.
Wind will occur occasionally in most parts of Egypt.
Furthermore, the Mediterranean Sea and the Red Sea will experience moderate waves, ranging between 1.5 and 2 meters in height with northwestern surface winds.
Moderate weather is also predicted to prevail across the country, at night.
Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 36°C in Cairo, 31°C in Alexandria, 30°C in Marsa Matruh, 39°C in Sohag, 40°C in Qena, and 41°C in Aswan.
