The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts extremely hot and humid weather to prevail in most parts of the country, during daylight hours on Friday.
Hot and humid weather is also predicted to hit the North Coast.
Winds will be active across the country.
There will also be a disruption of maritime navigation in the western shores of the Mediterranean Sea with wind speed reaching 40 to 50 km/hr and wave height ranging from 1.5 to 2.5 meters.
Furthermore, the Mediterranean Sea will experience moderate to turbulent waves, ranging between 1.5 and 2.5 meters in height with northwest surface winds.
Waves in the Red Sea will be moderate, ranging between 1.75 and 2.25 meters with northwest surface winds.
Moreover, most parts of the country will experience moderately hot and humid weather at nighttime.
Moderate and humid weather is also predicted to prevail in the North Coast.
Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 39°C in Cairo, 32°C in Alexandria, 31°C in Marsa Matruh, 42°C in Sohag, 43°C in Qena, and 45°C in Aswan.
