Saudi Arabia and Egypt signed, Tuesday, an agreement to encourage and protect mutual investments between the two countries, on the sidelines of the visit of Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz to Egypt.
According to the statement of the Presidency of Egypt, President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi stressed during his meeting with the Saudi Crown Prince, the depth and pivotality of strategic relations between Egypt and Saudi Arabia, especially in light of the threats facing the region.
In that context, the ongoing efforts to develop the Egyptian-Saudi economic partnership were reviewed, especially in the field of investment exchange, trade exchange between the two countries, and economic integration in the fields of energy, transport and tourism.
The talks also witnessed addressing regional developments, especially the situation in the Gaza Strip and Lebanon.
