Egypt Reports 883 New Coronavirus Cases, 45 Deaths

On Monday, Egypt’s Health Ministry reported 883 new coronavirus cases, bringing the country’s total up to 319339.

 

The total number of COVID-19-related deaths has now reached 18015 nationwide after the ministry announced 45 deaths.

About 639 patients were discharged from quarantine at isolation hospitals, raising the total number of fully-recovered cases to 269482.

Egypt plans to vaccinate 40 million citizens by the end of the year, representing around 40% of the population.
