On Wednesday, Egypt’s Health Ministry reported 879 new coronavirus cases, bringing the country’s total up to 371,698 .
The total number of COVID-19-related deaths has now reached 21,203 nationwide after the ministry announced 48 deaths.
About 525 patients were discharged from quarantine at isolation hospitals, raising the total number of fully-recovered cases to 309,354.
It is worth mentioing that, Health Affairs Presidential Advisor Mohamed Awad Tag El-Din said on Wednesday that Egypt has seen significant decline in Coronavirus cases and deaths.
In press remarks, he added that the epidemiological situation in Egypt is reassurning, affirming that the country is dealing with this issue professionally.
Moreover, Tag El-Din noted that Egypt managed to provide all types of internationally-approved coronavirus vaccines.
