On Monday, Egypt registered 951 new coronavirus cases, 60 deaths, and 912 recoveries, the Ministry of Health announced.
A total of 331,968 cases have been recorded in Egypt, alongside 18, 711 fatalities and 279,179 recoveries.
The country’s fourth wave of the virus is in full force, with daily case figures ten times higher than what was recorded at the end of July.
Egypt plans to vaccinate 40 million citizens by the end of the year, representing around 40% of the population.
