The Egyptian Ministry of Environment announced the success of refloating an international LNG tanker that ran aground in the Gulf of Aqaba on Friday, after suffering an engine malfunction.

According to Reuters, the ship was detained in Sharm El-Sheikh port until investigations were completed and the environmental damage was assessed.
