Egypt will receive a new batch of Russian trains later today, within the framework of the largest railway deal signed between Cairo, and Moscow.
The next batch will be shipped from Russia by sea to the Alexandria port.
Moreover, sources added that the batch consists of 22 normal vehicles with dynamic ventilation.
It is worth mentioning that, the deal, signed between the Egyptian Railways Authority and Russian-Hungarian company Transmashholding, is the largest in the history of Egypt’s railways, with a value of €1.16 billion ($1.8 billion).
