Egypt’s Tourism Authority (ETA) will showcase its perse tourism experiences at the World Travel Market (WTM) 2021 that is held in London from November 1 - November 3.

In a bid to promote Egyptian tourism, the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, represented by the Egyptian Tourism Promotion Board, participated in the WTM International Tourism Fair in the UK as a partner country in it this year.

This year the ETA participated in a 406-square-meter pavilion designed in the style of poles of ancient Egyptian temples and was equipped with the latest technological means, from massive screens to display propaganda materials from films and pictures of various Egyptian tourist destinations.

The pavilion has 20 exhibitors representing a number of hotels operating in the Egyptian tourism market, in addition to the EgyptAir firm, alongside the Red Sea province and Sinai peninsula representatives.

During this exhibition, several media and press meetings will be held with the British and international media as well as travel agents and specialized tour operators in this regard.

Moreover, Egyptian participation will provide an opportunity for tourism industry players from around the world to get the latest information on traveling to Egypt.

It’s worth mentioning that WTM is cited as one of the largest tourist exhibitions with hundreds of exhibitors from different countries around the world; nearly thousands of visitors are visiting the exhibition during its annual session, which had been held since 1980 before last year’s cancellation due to the awful pandemic.
