Egypt’s Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities announced that it will take part in the Milan International Tourism Exchange (BIT), which is scheduled to be held from 10 to 12 April.

The ministry is being represented by the Egyptian Tourism Promotion Board (ETPB), as part of its keenness to promote Egyptian tourism in the most important export markets for the sector.

Amr El-Kady, CEO of ETPB, said that the ministry is keen to participate in this exhibition as it is one of the most important professional exhibitions in the Italian market. It aims to keep pace with the rapid and successive changes that the tourism and travel industry is witnessing around the world.

“This exhibition is an opportunity to communicate with the profession’s partners and representatives of the tourism sector in the Italian market, to discuss ways of joint cooperation and push forward more movement of inbound tourism to Egypt,” he said.

On his part, Mohamed Farag, the tourism attaché at the Egyptian Tourist Office in Berlin, Germany, indicated that the authority is participating in the exhibition’s activities this year with a pavilion of 103.5 square meters representing a number of Egyptian tourism companies, airlines and hotels.

BIT is an important fair for those working in the tourism sector, which has been conceived to bring together supply and demand with a layout that enhances business communities. A meeting place for professionals from every subject area: from leisure to mice, from wedding to tech, from experience to jobs.
