President Abdel Fattah El Sisi offered his sincere condolences to people in Sri Lanka after seven explosions were blown up on Sunday; leaving dozens of dead and hundreds of injured.
“I offer my sincere condolences to the victims of the terrorist acts that have taken place in the State of Sri Lanka, which are not aimed at a particular State but at all humanity,” Sisi tweeted on Sunday.
The Egyptian president added “All of us must stand today before our historic responsibility for these acts that are devoid of all human meanings.”

Sri Lankan police reported there had been seven explosions, the fourth at a hotel, following six reported at hotels and churches earlier in the day that killed nearly 140 people.
The latest explosion to be reported was at a hotel near the national zoo, which is in an area near the capital Colombo.
“There was an explosion in a hotel in Dehiwela near the zoo,” a police official told Reuters adding that there were no further details available.
In the same regard, Egyptian foreign ministry issued a statement condemning the blasts which targeted three churches and three hotels.
“Egypt offers its condolences to the families of the victims, wishing speed recovery to the injured,” the statement read.
Egypt stresses its full support to the government and people of the Republic of Sri Lanka against terrorism, according to the statement.
