On Saturday, Egypt expressed its sincere condolences and sympathy to Nigeria as a result of the two attacks it witnessed during the past days, targeting a bus and a mosque. The attack resulted in dozens of innocent civilian victims.
In a statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Egypt wished a speedy recovery for all the injured people.
The statement said that the government and people of Egypt affirm their standing side by side with the government and people of Nigeria in this dire circumstance. It stressed its solidarity with Nigeria in the face of all forms of violence, extremism and terrorism.
