Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty held a phone call on Tuesday with his Moroccan counterpart Nasser Bourita, as part of ongoing consultation and coordination between the two brotherly countries.
During the call, both ministers emphasized the depth and strength of bilateral relations between Egypt and Morocco, highlighting the steady progress witnessed across political, economic, trade, and investment fields. They underlined that this momentum reflects the long-standing historical ties binding the two nations and their peoples.
The ministers affirmed their shared commitment to further advancing cooperation and strengthening partnership frameworks in various sectors, in a manner that serves the mutual interests of both countries. They also reviewed ongoing preparations for convening the next session of the Egyptian–Moroccan Joint High Committee, which is expected to be held in the coming period with the participation of the prime ministers of both countries, aiming to give additional impetus to bilateral cooperation.
The call also included an exchange of views on a number of regional and international issues of common concern. Both sides stressed the importance of maintaining close coordination, continued consultation, and intensified communication in the coming phase to support regional security and stability.
The ministers reaffirmed their shared determination to enhance Arab and African joint action in addressing current challenges, emphasizing that sustained coordination between Cairo and Rabat remains a key pillar in promoting stability, cooperation, and shared interests at both regional and international levels.
