Egypt’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs said it is closely monitoring the situation of Egyptian nationals in Venezuela, stressing that members of the Egyptian community remain safe and have not been exposed to any risks.
In a statement, the ministry said it is maintaining constant contact with Egypt’s embassy in Caracas to follow developments on the ground and ensure the well-being of Egyptians residing in the South American country.
The ministry confirmed that the Egyptian community in Venezuela is safe and has not faced any danger so far. It added that the embassy in Caracas has been instructed to maintain direct communication with Egyptian citizens, advising them to exercise caution, comply with local laws and regulations, and immediately contact the embassy through its emergency hotline if they encounter any difficulties.
The foreign ministry stressed that it will continue coordinating with the embassy to assess the situation and review any measures needed to guarantee the safety and security of Egyptians in Venezuela.
