Egypt’s Foreign Minister ( FM ) Sameh Shoukry held Today, Wednesday, a meeting via a "video conference" call with his Swedish counterpart Anne Linde, both ministers discussed ways of strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries in all areas.
They also discussed the overall situation in the Middle east region.
The two ministers affirmed their keenness to promote joint work and continue to push forward the path of cooperation between the two countries in various fields, especially the renewable energy, digital transformation, and infrastructure, foreign ministry spokesperson Ahmed Hafez said.
They agreed on the importance of continuing political consultations to coordinate positions on regional and international issues of common concern, especially the United Nations, human rights and development issues.
Moreover, they discussed the developments of the Coronavirus pandemic and ways to address this crisis in a manner that requires the solidarity of international efforts.
