In a step intended to ease the process of receiving data relating to the 27th session of the Conference of Parties (COP27), Egypt has launched the official website of COP27 to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), which will take place in November in the Red Sea city of Sharm El-Sheikh, according to the government.

As a host of COP27, the North African country will continue to take a leadership role in the fight against climate change, so it can keep creating new economic opportunities across all sectors and building a better future for everyone.

In this regard, it has recently outlined the objectives and strategic approach of the COP27, which has now been officially published on the new website.

As the world shifts to a cleaner and greener economy, Egypt has put in place measures to reduce pollution to work toward meeting Paris and Glasgow approaches and achieving SDGs by 2030, the government pointed out.
