An international aviation exhibition for the first time in Egypt, a major event hosted by the city of El Alamein last week. companies and experts in the aviation, space and defense industries in the world including more than 300 companies from 100 countries took part in the event to became the largest in Africa and the Middle East in the field of Aviation.

A major turning point not only for aviation in Egypt, but also industrialization and digitization in aviation, defense and space, international cooperation in the defense and space industries, transfer of modern technology, development of defense industries and capabilities, and support of space exploration.

The inauguration was wonderful in the presence of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, as part of his ambitious plan to make Egypt a source of attraction in all fields, whether road projects, bridges, tunnels, the metro, means of transportation, and new cities, to achieve a major renaissance on every inch of Egypt’s land... and the new city of El Alamein will become a tourist destination with its wonderful design and its new airport. The exhibition achieves major gains, such as the large turnout and increased tourist traffic, and gives Egypt its importance as a country interested in creating the future in aviation, space and satellite technology. This role is played by the Egyptian Space Agency, which the state has provided with all the capabilities to launch.

What an amazing thing I saw at the exhibition that made me proud of my country and my country’s industry. They are two armored vehicles on which “Made in Egypt” is proudly written. Two armored vehicles demonstrated our industrial and military strength and our ability to defend our land, ourselves, and our national security. I felt heppy with the opening of the first aviation exhibition in Egypt, I now have hope for the upcoming exhibitions that they will be no less than well-known international exhibitions, so that it will become a strong competitor to major exhibitions such as the Le Bourget exhibition in France, the Dubai Airshow, the China and Vietnam exhibitions, and other major aviation exhibitions. The presence of El Alamein Airport next to the renaissance that we see on the northern coast makes it fulfills the dream that the city of El Alamein and the northern coast will operate throughout the year like European countries in the northern Mediterranean, and it is a source of tremendous tourist attraction. Many thanks to all those in charge of this renaissance.
