He underscored the significance of bolstering economic and trade relations between Egypt and North Rhine-Westphalia, which is recognized as Germany's most populous state.
Khatib and the NRW minister inaugurated the first session of a joint economic summit, attended by 100 German companies expressing interest in the Egyptian market.
Khatib extended an invitation to all participating companies to explore the investment opportunities available in Egypt.
