Egypt Faces Hot Weather on Thursday, Cairo 34°C

The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts hot weather to prevail in Cairo, Lower Egypt, the northwestern coast, and South Sinai, during daylight hours on Thursday.

Moderately hot weather is also expected to hit the northeastern coast, while the south of the country experience extremely hot weather.

The country will also witness mist on agricultural and highway roads to Cairo, Lower Egypt, North Coast, Canal cities, Central Sinai, and North Upper Egypt.

Winds will occur occasionally in the northwestern coast, stirring sand and dust in the Western Sahara.

There is also a 20% chance of light rain hitting the northwestern coast, at intermittent intervals.

Furthermore, the Mediterranean Sea will experience moderate waves, ranging between 1.5 and 2.25 meters in height with northeast surface winds.

Waves in the Red Sea will be moderate, ranging between 1.5 and 2 meters in height with northwest surface winds.

Moreover, moderate weather is also expected to prevail in most parts of the country, at night.

There is a 20% chance of light rain hitting Cairo, Lower Egypt, and the Canal Cities.

Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 34°C in Cairo, 31°C in Alexandria, 28°C in Marsa Matruh, 36°C in Sohag, 36°C in Qena, and 38°C in Aswan.
