The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts extremely hot and humid weather to prevail in most parts of the country, during daylight hours on Friday.
Hot and humid weather is expected to hit North Coast and Central Sinai.
Wind will occur occasionally in most parts of Egypt.
Furthermore, the Mediterranean Sea will experience low to moderate waves, ranging between 1 and 1.5 meters in height with northwestern surface winds.
Waves in the Red Sea will be moderate, ranging between 1 and 2 meters in height with northwestern surface winds.
Moderate and humid weather is also predicted to prevail across the country, at night.
Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 36°C in Cairo, 30°C in Alexandria, 29°C in Marsa Matruh, 38°C in Sohag, 39°C in Qena, and 41°C in Aswan.
