On Monday, Egypt strongly denounced the terror attacks that targeted two villages in Niger near the border with Mali, resulted in the death and injury of scores of innocent people.
In a statement, Ministry of Foreign Affairs offered its deep condolences to the families of the victims and to the government and people of Niger, wishing the wounded a speedy recovery.
Moreover, the ministry reiterated Egypt's firm position of rejecting all forms of violence and terrorism, stressing the importance of concerted regional and international efforts to confront this scourge.
