Egypt's Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned, Tuesday, the Israeli government's approval of the decision to build 800 new settlement units in the occupied West Bank, which is a new violation of international legitimacy decisions.
Spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ambassador Ahmed Hafez expressed his great concern over the consequences of such repeated steps that undermine the chances for a two-state solution, at a time when various international parties are exerting tireless efforts to revive the negotiation process between the Palestinian and Israeli sides.
Hafez also warned of the negative repercussions of these practices for the security and stability of the region.
