Egypt has expressed its strong disapproval of the statements made by the Israeli Prime Minister in an interview with an American media outlet yesterday.
In a statement issued by Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Egypt denounced these remarks as false, misleading, and unacceptable, contradicting the extensive efforts it has made since the beginning of the aggression on Gaza.
It also added that it has been actively facilitating the entry of urgent humanitarian aid to the Palestinian people, including more than 5,000 trucks from Egypt since the ceasefire, as well as allowing the passage of wounded individuals, injured civilians, and dual nationals.
Moreover, Egypt emphasized that these statements are an attempt to deflect attention from Israel’s blatant violations against civilians and the destruction of vital Palestinian infrastructure, including hospitals, educational institutions, power plants, and water supply stations.
Additionally, Egypt condemned Israel’s use of siege and starvation as weapons against civilians.
Moreover, Egypt firmly rejected any statements or attempts to forcibly displace the Palestinian people to Egypt, Jordan, or Saudi Arabia. It also reaffirmed its solidarity with the resilient people of Gaza, who remain steadfast in their land despite the horrors they face in defense of their just and legitimate cause.
Furthermore, Egypt reiterated its unwavering national and Arab stance, rooted in the Palestinian people's right to establish their independent state along the borders of June 4, 1967, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
