On Wednesday, Egypt's Minister of State for Military Production Mohamed Ahmed Morsy met the Colombian Ambassador Muñoz de Gaviria, to discuss military cooperation in light of the two nations’ massive economic capabilities.
During their meeting, Egypt's minister of state for military production expressed his ministry’s willingness to benefit from Colombian expertise in different fields as part of the ministry’s keenness to cooperate with international firms.
In the same connection, Morsy emphasized that this fruitful joint cooperation aims at transferring experience and localizing modern technologies in Egypt, which is in line with the state’s comprehensive strategy and agenda to develop industrial and technological capabilities to support sustainable development approaches by relying on domestic manufacturing capabilities.
On the other hand, the Colombian ambassador extended her country's desire to benefit from Egyptian expertise in the field of military and civilian economies, as well as benefiting from Egyptian expertise in the field of combating terrorism, the bilateral efforts in the field of military investments, and civilian industrial.
