Assistant Foreign Minister (FM) for European Affairs Ambassador Khaled Amara held a round of consultations with Chinese Special Envoy for Eurasian Affairs Ambassador Li Hui at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The consultations focused on the developments of the Russian-Ukrainian crisis and its regional and international repercussions, as well as its impact on international security and stability.
The two sides affirmed their firm positions on the crisis, at the forefront of which is reaching political and diplomatic solutions through negotiations.
The consultations were characterized by an atmosphere of deep friendship, trust, mutual respect, and a convergence of views on issues and conflicts, whether in the European arena or the Middle East region, as well as in Southeast Asia.
