CAIRO, Sept 15 (SEE) - Egypt were crowned as the champion of the 13th CANA Swimming & Open Water Championships, concluded in Algiers Saturday.
The country topped the tournament, bagging 44 medals, including 27 golds, 14 silvers and three bronzes, MENA news agency reported.
Egypt's men and women teams were named as the best.
Farida Osman topped the women’s team gaining five gold medals and three silver medals.
Hania Moro won the best swimmer cup after winning four gold medals and two silvers in the tournament.
While, Mohamed Samy topped the 200m freestyle competition to reap the gold winning the “Best Player” cup after earning 11 gold medals and one bronze.
