On Monday, the Egypt National Beach Soccer team had their first win ever at the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup tournament.
The Egyptian team made a historical comeback, defeating the US 5-4, however, the Pharaohs were knocked out of the tournament by coming third in their group.
The team's star Hossam Paulo scored a hat-trick during the game, while Ahmed El Shahat and El Husseiny Taha scored a goal each.
Paulo was chosen as the Man of the Match and received huge appreciation on Social media.
In the same context, FIFA celebrated the victory of Egypt, and Paulo's efforts after the game.
The official account of FIFA posted: "History made! Egypt secured their first-ever #BeachSoccerWC win today after a 5-4 comeback victory over the USA!"
This was Egypt's first participation in the tournament.
