CAIRO, Dec. 19 (SEE) - The fourth edition of 'Egypt Can' Conference,under the auspices of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, issued on Tuesday a number of recommendations regarding how to develop the educational process here.
During 12 sessions over two days, the partaking Egyptian scientists andthe concerned bodies adopted up to 13 recommendations by the conclusion of the event which was held on Monday in Hurghada.
They agreed on benefiting from the partaking scientists and experts in assessing the Egyptian educational systems, curricula, methods of teaching, and training courses.
The attendees called for giving more concern to teaching English, as the
main language in the international events and studying the future needs of the
labor market here to provide it with suitable graduates to reduce unemployment.
They stressed the importance of encouraging investors to establish
vocational training centers and support the graduates of the technical
faculties.
They affirmed the necessity of luring branches of international
universities and programs here to increase educational competitiveness by
taking into consideration reducing their costs.
Developing programs for the disabled that enable them to easily follow
up the curriculum was adopted with taking into account the importance of
merging them into the society.
The participants called for supporting the youth's ideas and teaching
them entrepreneurship to turn their ideas to successful projects.
Immigration Minister Nabila Makram inaugurated the conference with the
participation of 28 Egyptian scientists and experts, who are working abroad.
Egypt Can conferences aim to develop a plan for the pre-university course.
They also target to benefit from the expertise of these scientists to
improve the quality of education in their homeland.
