Egypt defeated Saudi Arabia 36-1 at the World Youth Water Polo Championships in Hungary, while the head of the Saudi General Authority for Sports and current Pyramids Club owner in Egypt vowed to punish those accountable for the humiliating defeat.
"The result of the water polo team today is unacceptable, and an embarrassment to the Kingdom," said Al-Sheikh, threatening: "What happened will not pass and those who are responsible for the loss will be held accountable"
The Egyptian team lost their first game of the tournament against Australia 7-11 after a good performance, while they tied with South Africa in the second game 14-14 before gaining their first win against Saudi Arabia
